  I can not find the words in the settings to add a new user but only the one to invite a user. How can I change the role of a user if I can not see it?

  You can add a new user to your blog via your Users -> Invite New page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/

  On the Invite New page, you’ll see an option to select the user role you want to assign to that person in the drop-down menu next to “Role.”
