In the latest version of WP, the option to add vertical and horizontal spacing is gone–at least I can’t find it! Please advise.

Hi there,
There were some recent changes to the Visual Editor and Image Editor. You can read more about those changes here:
Can you explain a bit more about where you’re looking to add horizontal and vertical spacing? Are you trying to add a border around your images?
I’m happy to troubleshoot with a bit more information!

Yes! In the previous version, when I went to edit my image (after placement), it would give me the option to add vertical and/or horizontal spacing around the image under the Advanced tab. That option no longer exists.
So I don’t necessarily want a *border* so much as the former capability of creating a space cushion around the image to my designation. Does that make sense?
Thanks for your help!

Hi!
The vertical and horizontal spacing option has been removed. However, you can still add it by modifying the HTML as demonstrated here:
<img class="alignleft size-large wp-image-15505" src="LONGURL" width="584" height="389" hspace="5" vspace="5" />In that example, the hspace and vspace attributes correspond to horizontal and vertical spacing. You can modify the number to either increase or decrease the size. To be clear, you would need to modify the image HTML within the Text Editor.
Can you give that a try and let me know if it works on your side?
