New video player – static frame and uploading

  Hi folks

  Got the new video player working, quality is good and I love the player, but I have a couple of questions.

  1) Anyone know where the static frame comes from (so I can engineer an attractive opening slate)? Or is it possible to choose the frame (as you can on YouTube)?

  2) Uploading takes forever. Even at different times of day on broadband link. (1 min video 100mbyte taking 3 hours.) Is it possible to FTP to the storage servers? Any other suggestions? This is my big drawback and I will have to say thanks but no thanks if I can’t improve this.

  3) Is it possible to take the transcoded video to another storage site – eg Amazon S3, where storage costs are somewhat cheaper? (I’m sure I should be looking at non-Wordpress solutions for this, but non leap out at me yet.)
