  That is not a WordPress.com blog; it is an independent blog made using WordPress software. You should be over at WordPress.org for that.

  Here at wordpress.com we simply blog on our multiuser blogging platform and leave the geeky stuff to staff.

  When you have a self hosted blog then you must be responsible for your own updating, installation of upgrades, plugins and maintenance.
