  Hi! I am trying to start a website for a small restaurant, I bought a domain I want to use through the Google. When I started to creating the website through the WordPress, I get confused about the domains name. For example, if I am mapping my domain, would be the website name TheCafe.worldpress.com or it would be TheCafe.com?

  Hi tullejour

  When you just register your site with WordPress.com. WordPress gives you a free address with .wordpress.com at the end. To remove that from your site users add custom domain to their site.

  For example in your case your free address is http://tullejour.wordpress.com/ and later on when you will map your custom domain (TheCafe.com) to your wordpress site the Your new site address will be TheCafe.com
