  I have bought a domain name from go daddy and wish to set up website. My designer has asked me to instal WordPress in my domain and provide login in details ??

  They are asking you to also get web hosting and then install WordPress.org software to that hosting account. WordPress.com is managed hosting for WordPress software, and you can opt for this hosting company if you’d like! You might consult with your designer. Keep in mind that this will require the Business Plan. This might be good to compare:
