  Hi I have very limited experience in websites so purchased a domain name from fasthosts and gave it to a web developer to create a website and has uploaded the files to our account but failed to give admin details so now I can’t make any changes or amendments. Can someone please help on how I can create the wordpress account and keep my billing with fasthosts as I don’t know what I am doing with this. Thank you

  Hi there – It sounds like someone created your site for you. Could you pass us the URL of the site?

  It also sounds like the web developer is the only administrator of that site. Do you have the ability to log into that site? Or are you unable to log into that site?

  In either case, if you require administrative rights, and the web developer is the only admin, you will need to work with the web developer to make your account an administrator account as well.
