new website and word press emails?

    Hi, I have a website built for me and the designer used WordPress, I now need help on various items to develop myself, I’m getting lots of emails from WordPress – eg; saying the following
    New user registration on your site:

    Username: kroberts1958

    Email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    what do these mean?
