New Website, domain registered on Dreamhost

  I am so confused! I need to set up a new website for our food cupboard. I registered the domain name vffood.org with Dreamhost and want to use that as our website address. I signed up for the $99 WordPress plan but I don’t think I have Dreamhost and WordPress communicating yet, and I think WordPress has us as vffoodcupboard.org. Can you please help me straighten this out? Thank you so much!

  Hi Karen!

  You’re almost set. You do have an admin domain at WordPress.com set as vffoodcupboard.wordpress.com. However, visitors won’t see that URL (only you as an admin will) once we get your domain setup correctly. To get you up and running, you’ll just need to point your name servers to WordPress.com.

  Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
