    How can I make a new website using my old domain.

    Hi there,

    Yes, what you can fully set up your new site with us by pointing the domain here. This will replace any existing site you have at that URL with the site you construct here at WordPress.com instead.

    When you first create your site we will assign a staging subdomain you can use to get set up in private. When you are ready to “launch” the new site to replace the current one, that is when you will want to “map” or transfer your domain to us.
