New Website with a domain we already own

  I just need to clarify before I go ahead and build a new website for our association. W already own 3 domains – I can build the new website without taking over the domain until it is finished correct? I don’t want to take our current website down until the new one is done. So once I finish the new site, I can map it to our current domain…

  yes, you can get ready the new website and when it’s done, you can follow the instructions from the following link to map it to your domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
