New word press website!

  Very excited to have started my own WordPress account! Just have a few questions:
  1) I give talks and I want to put my YouTube videos on my site but when I go to do so it says I can only do it if I upgrade my account. Is there no way to put up my video content on my website as I do my writing content?
  2) A blog popped up at the same time but I created my site. My website is jdstonersite@wordpress and the blog that was created is called jdstonerblog ( is a separate blog created for everyone who creates an acct?) now that I have it, how do I change the name?

  1. You can definitely embed YouTube videos on your blog, as you do with your writing content. Here’s a tutorial: https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/

  2. It looks like you created a second WordPress site (https://jdstonerblog.wordpress.com/). You can delete the site, if you want to. More information found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
