  Hi. I just deleted my old blog and now I want to register a new free blog at a .wordpress.com link. I simply can’t figure out how to do that. Thanks.

  Hi there!

  You can click on My Site and then on Create Site. If you do not want to purchase any upgrade, make sure you register the free subdomain.

  Thanks for the reply. I did try it. Its not working. When I go to Create Site, it asks me for keywords. Once I put the keywords, the results display domains all of which are free for the first year only. If I skip that and try going to step 2, it shows me payment plans starting from $4 and no free subdomain option.

  After typing a word or phrase the offer of a free address will be below the two paid for options. You can fine tune the offered address (remove all/most numbers) until you’re happy with it.
