New WordPress blog format??

    I went to post a blog post today and everything looks different! I put my title in but where I would usually copy and paste my blog post is different. Instead of the normal text box, it’s trying to make everything into blocks! What’s going on?

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software. What you’re seeing is the new default editor that was introduced in WordPress 5.0 that was released last week.

    You can also disable the new block editor added in WordPress 5.0 on your self-hosted site by installing the Classic Editor plugin:
