New WordPress.com editor uses far less screen estate and severely limits editing

Out of the blue a new WordPress.com editor was enabled for my payed account.
The new WordPress.com editor for paying customers by default uses far less screen estate so us unusable on HD screens that are very common among professional editors.

Please fix ASAP so it uses the whole browser width like the old editor dit.
Note: I do *not* mean the Full Screen option, as that hides the possibility to easily edit categories.

We really appreciate feedback. We did update quite a few links to point to our new editor. However, please keep in mind that the old editor is still available. You just need to access it by clicking “Edit” underneath a post here:
