New WP site – JetPack

  I’m trying to purchase JetPack (personal) from my WP dashboard and I end up in WP.com asking me to create a website…obviously a novice…thanks.

  Hi @judykaytravel ,

  To use Jetpack, you need to create a WordPress.com account, not necessarily a WordPress.com site.
  What do I need in order to run Jetpack?
  With your WP.com account, you could create sites, too, but there is no need to. Follow through with the prompts to create your account and you should be guided to install Jetpack. The above site will help you with that.
