  Hi, new to WordPress

  2 questions:
  1 – i had set visibility to Private for a while and although i changed it back to Public when i display the page, the title has a prefix of private….how can i get rid of that?

  2 – i added a widget to the front page and it doesn’t display. I have it set to visible. any thoughts?

  Figured out the private issue but still can’t get a widget to appear on the front page – was able to do so initially – then deleted all on the first page and added a new widget and that’s when the issue started

  What widget are you trying to use? Is your home page set as the front page according to these instructions? http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentytwelve/
