  Hey guys,

  We are newbies. At first we thought using WordPress would be as simple as using Facebook, but no! We find it very difficult. Sorry for not being very positive and not saying things like ‘this is a great site, keep up the good work etc.’ Can someone perhaps guide us how to control our pages. We appreciate it is free to use WordPress, but we’d like to use our own images, pertinent to our subject matter, not some stupid images completely irrelevant to our topic. We’d also like to post videos. Is this possible without upgrading i.e. without forking out 99 bucks? Sorry, but we’re only teenagers, we don’t have that amount of money to spare. Finally, we are a group of students who want to use WordPress for our project. Can we use it collectively rather than as an individual? What we mean is, when we post something to our blog, we’d like to have our own picture besides the post, not our classmates. We look forward to hearing from you. Best regards from Doga students…

  You can use one blog with several people contributing to it. Best advice is to have only one administrator who owns the blog. The administrator then invites the other folks with various levels of access to the site:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

  Note that each person needs to sign up for a WordPress.com account, but they don’t have to start blogs.

  There is only one dynamic posting front home page per blog. You cannot post to a page.
  To organize your blog, use categories so readers can easily find your post about various topics.

  Then use a category widget or custom menu:

  You don’t need to purchase the upgrade to embed many videos into your blog. You won’t be able to upload the videos, they must be hosted somewhere like YouTube or others.
