  1. I successfully added a link. However, for everything I type after that the link continues. How do I resume typing normal text in a post?

  2. The normal text of my post appears underlined. I didn’t do it, I swear. How can I remove the underlining.

  Because you have not given us the link to your blog we are in the dark about what is happening. Please post the link to the post you are having trouble with.

  1) Did you close the link with a closing a tag? </a>

  2) For some reason, you;re using an ins tag. That’s causes the underlining. I’d remove it if you didn’t want it.

  Underlining is gone. The ins tag seemingly just appeared but probably resulted from my random fiddling. I will need to play with the closing a tag but will probably be okay with that major clue. Thanks for the fast effective help! Yes, the link is http//:djclausewitz.wordpress.com.

  Sometimes when I put a link in and then resume typing, the link carried through to the new text. You can highlight the text you don’t want in the link and click on what looks like a broken chain in the toolbar, and that will release it.
