Newbie here; had high hopes on WordPress but now disappearing

I am a newbie from blogspot and really have high hopes on WordPress but I am encountering difficulties with the dashboard.
I have blogged a few times now attaching pictures of my scanned postcard but why is it that some of the images I have posted? They appear to be visible to me but not when to the reader!

What you describe is usually a browser related issue. Please allow we to state a little more without ranting. Nothing remains the same forever. the only constant in this universe is change. When it comes to technology we users of it have to become aware of how to upgrade and update our technological tools. No web developers will devote andy time or energy to making their software compataible with outdated browsers like IE6 and IE7 which are no longer supported. Yet we Volunteers experience bloggers every day who are not keeping pace with upgrades and updates. We also experience bloggers who are running BETA browser versions that are buggy and unstable. Please encourage yopur readers to get on board and keep up with the technology of the times, rather than attempting to blame WordPress for this. Thanks, for listening.

No need to apologize and thanks for responding, Timethief. I have to confess that I love to blog and consider myself computer literate yet a lot of technological terms mention above are slightly unknown to me (not all of them but some). I guess, I am more an “end user”.
I have a number of hobbies in life (*smile*) and I guess I would have to allocate time to sit and understand how WordPress works.
I probably would stop blogging until I get this straight.

Not to worry. As soon as your visitors are educated in what to do to upgrade their browsers and clear their caches and cookies they will see your images just as I do now using Firefox 10.0.2 and IE8.
