Newbie: How to Align Content, Remove Unwanted Elements?

    Hi everyone,

I’m trying to create a simple website, but I’m facing a few challenges when creating a new page:

    1. The content on my page is for some reason split into two halves (left and right) but I want everything to be aligned in the center.
    2. There’s a featured image and a vertical navigation menu that I can’t delete from the list view. I would lite the horizontal one which for some reason is on the right side.
    3. I also can’t move the header or footer in the list view—they seem to be locked in place. How can I edit or reposition these elements? Drag drop in the list view doesn’t work.

Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I messed around and kinda found a solution, not sure whether the best one. Apparently the issue is related to templates, for some reason the extra header / navigation was added to every single template.

I navigated to Templates in the Editor. From there, I went through each template and edited individually to delete unwanted elements. Some elements were locked, so I unlocked them from the List View and when done saved. After completing this process, I found that any new pages I created, as well as previously existing ones, were now adjustable

I’m not sure this is the best solution but kinda worked but a bit tedious.
