Newbie – Links I added to “Links” category not appearing on sidebar

  Hello:

  I created a category named “Links” then added two links to it. But nothing shows up on my sidebar. Help files are not helping. Thanx.

  have you inserted the links widget into your sidebar?

  I think sulz nailed it; to show your blogroll, you need to add the Links widget or use a template that automatically displays the blogroll. I’m not seeing any actual tags on your one existing post, just “uncategorized” which is the default.

  Dashboard > Presentation > Widgets

  Widgets will be at bottom of the widget page. Look for the ‘links’ widget.
  Drag and drop it into the ‘sidebar’ area above on the left.

  I added the links widget to my pesentation page but it does not show any of my links – there are 5 or 6 showing in my blogroll page.

  If the links you have entered into your Blogroll are not dispalying after you have placed your Links widget in your sidebar go back here -> Blogroll and be sure you have assigned Categories to them.
