Newbie Needing Help

    I accidentally erased my home page (maybe my theme too?) and now when I try to add a new page to start a new home page or about page- I get an error code saying my action is not acceptable—it refers something about mod security. Also I think I have Bluehost and WordPress. I don’t know how these work together or what this means. I am super new and trying my best to learn techy stuff but it’s certainly a huge gap for me. I would so appreciate some insight. Thanks so much.

    Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you have trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites hosted on our servers.
