Newbie Needs Help!

OK, so I’m trying to use the CSS editor (the free one if that matters) to change the font on my page. I don’t want to change anything except the color to red, and the font to something more befitting to the overall theme to my page, like the “Georgia” font. Also, I want to change it so when something is italicized or put in bold, the color is white on my page. I’d like to do this for all the text on the pages of my site. I’ve looked up how I’m suppose to do this in a couple books and on a couple of websites, but I just don’t understand what I’m suppose to put in the editor, or how. If someone could please help me it would be awesome. Thank you.

The font colors are controlled from various selector depending on the use (widget titles, post titles, post content, site title, etc. Do you want to change all of it or just some of it or what?
Using the Spectum theme as you are, if the italic and bold fonts are white they won’t show up.

Well, I have two sites, and the one I’m referring to is http://www.scribblesofasadisticscribe.wordpress.com and the background is black. However, to answer your question, I did want all of it but I just found out that in order to save any of the changes I would make with the editor, I would have to pay for an upgrade, which I can’t afford to do. So thank you but I’m going to close this forum topic for now.
