Newbie Q: WordPress onto a server adding theme set

  I have a neat looking theme set that works on WordPress – which I’m looking at for the first time (ho no!). Evidently I have to set WordPress up on “my” server then add the theme set. I suspect this requires a domain (from GoDaddy.com or similar), transferring some files…? Anyone care to point me in the right direct to get this rolling.
