  This is the stupidest question ever. I just signed up and requested an id, not a blog. But now that I’m in I want to start a blog and I can’t see how to add it. What am I missing?

  Click on the wordpress.com logo at the top of this page and beneath your user name is an option to register a blog. Have fun and welcome!
