Newbie question about regular vs. org cpanel

  I’m a newbie -please be gentle.

  My webdesigner told me:

  There’re wordpress sites, that most people use and there’s wordpress.org which is their internal platform they’re different systems. There’s no reason to use .org for a site like yours, but either way just contact the webhost and tell them you want regular cpanel hosting

  How do I do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I do have two questions before we try to get you the answers you are needing about hosting and cpanel.

  Can you tell me if your web designer will indeed be designing your website once you have acquired the kind of hosting they’re recommending you get? And will you be the person to maintain the site once it has been designed and launched? It seems very likely, but I want to ask just so we’re 100% sure and on the same page. Thank you!
