  Hi all!
  Sorry if these questions are really stupid, but I’m new here.

  First of all, I would like to open a blog (writing opinions, reporting tech news that interests me, photos and so on). Do you think that WordPress.com is right for me? Or is it a little overkill?

  Second, I already own a domain name: can I use it? Do I have to pay to use it?

  Third, and last, I’d like to buy a premium theme: can I use it even if my “bundle” is the “free bundle”?

  Yes you can use it. Yes you have to pay for domain mapping to it.

  If you would like to use your domain to map to from your free hosted wordpress.com blog to it then you will first need to set up domain mapping. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  After you make the domain mapping purchase here > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and do the primary blog set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

  Yes you can purchase a premium theme for any free hosted WordPress.com blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/

  Note that you can ONLY use the Premium Themes on your dashbord Themes page. You can’t buy one elsewhere and add it.

  I have another question: if I don’t buy the “Custom Design” pack in the store, can I change things (like font or colors) of a premium theme? Or not?

  Each theme has a detailed theme description and no two themes are designed exactly the same way so we cannot answer that question. See here please. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sort/premium/
