  I’m setting up my first WordPress site and running into problems I need help with.

  One of the pages is a ‘featured content’ page; the only options available to me are Stats of Copy. I cannot edit it. What do I need to do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, I looked at your list of pages and do not see a featured content page in the list. I do see a number of posts with the title featured content.

  Can you explain a bit further what you are trying to do and we are more than happy to help you get there?

  I was able to find the page order section on page attributes. Unfortunately, only 5 pages show up when I view the site.

  What is the easiest way to arrange the order of the pages so that the pages listed show up on the site in the order I want?

  Pages created (order on site):
  Welcome (first)
  Photos (second)
  About (third)
  Writings (fifth)
  Stone Barns – not viewable on site
  Influences – not viewable on site
  Contact (fourth)

  What is the easiest way to arrange the order of the pages so that the pages listed show up on the site in the order I want?

  Thanks for sending the page order. Where on your site would you like to order pages on this way? For example, in the menu at the top of the site.

  For the pages listed “not viewable on site”, do you mean those pages should be password protected?

  Just let me know and we can go from there.

  Site Pages: 7 pages have been created; page order has been set and verified

  View Site: only *5* pages are visible. Am I limited to the number of pages I can create? If not, why are all 7 pages not visible on the site? If the number of pages is limited, I’ll dump some and make changes.

  Hi quiltistjhb,

  There isn’t a limit on the number of pages. You have created a total of 8 pages but 1 of those is a draft (Stone Barns). There are currently 5 pages listed in the menu but the rest can be added from My Sites > Customise > Menus > Primary, with these steps:

  Menus

  New pages will be automatically added to the menu if you check the following option (at the bottom of the menu editor): Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu.

  Thank you for the guidance!

  I opened the Stone Barns page, but cannot see that it is a draft; to me, it looks like a regular page.

  When I opened up the Menu, I saw that some pages are highlighted in pink and marked “invalid”. What needs to be done?

  Hi Judi, if you go to My Sites > Site Pages, when that page loads, you will see

  Published Drafts Scheduled Trashed

  across the top. Click on Drafts to see any pages that have not been published. You will see Stone Barns in there.

  If you click on Stone Barns to edit it, you will see a “Publish” button at the upper right indicating it has not yet been published. After publishing, if you open a page in the editor, that blue button at upper right will say “Update”.
