newbie wants to know basics of coding custom layout

  Just wondering what the basics of a blog layout/template involved. I have coded website in html before, but they were very basic. given a CSS code, I could definitely tweak it to my liking, I just wanted to know if there were any tips/suggestions about coding.

  also, how do we edit our RSS feed?

  Have you read the FAQs about using the custom CSS upgrade? Definitely do that before proceeding. Changing the layout in WordPress.com is not the same as coding a website.

  As for editing the RSS feed, you can’t. You can set it to full feed or summary under Settings, but that’s it.

  I suggest learning CSS :)
