Newby- Issue utilizing what WordPress offers… Help!

  I started my blog about a month ago. Its getting rave reviews from the 30-150 people who read it every day but, I am trying to juice it up. Put in links, blogroll, link to other blogs… All of that stuff that makes a blog way more interactive. Im stuck at version 1.0 right now… Ive been attempting this change for a few days right now and always get confused. Please, help unveil the beautiful and useful widgets WordPress has to offer!
