New(ish) Site

Hey guys! New to word press. My boyfriend is a musician who has a website under sethdoud.com. His friend was running to for awhile, but we have now taken over the domain. The site is still intact from his friend running it. Wondering if I take it over from here if the current layout will remain and I can just edit it or if I will start from scratch. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!!

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
