I’ve been trying to create a home page following these steps – http://learn.wordpress.com/bonus-round-get-a-home-page
But having created new (blank) pages I don’t have the option to select them as a static page – my new pages display under ‘all pages’ but not under Settings-Reading-Front page display. Where am I going wrong?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello!

Currently you have two published Pages and one draft Page – both of your published Pages are available to be used as your static front page under Settings > Reading >Front Page – here’s a gif:

If you’d like to make the “News” page, which I see is a draft, your static front Page, you’ll need to publish it first. If there is anything else I can help you with, please don’t hesitate to ask!
