  1. Can I change the name of my site to ‘portablepetdoor’ or ‘portable pet door’?
  2. How do I get to my published site in wordpress.com?
  3. After publishing my site, should I be able to go to Google search engine and type the name of my site, or, ‘portable pet door’, and see it come up in google?
  4. How do I get to the community forum to find the answer to these questions?

  1. yes, you can go to ‘my sites’ > customize, find the Site Title and change the name to ‘portable pet door’.

  2. The address should be http://portablepetwindow.wordpress.com/

  3. It depends, google has certain algorithm to show the result based on releavance. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to change it.

  When I go to http://portablepetwindow.wordpress.com/
  all I see is “NOTHING FOUND”. What’s wrong?
  Regarding finding the Forums, the only way I know how to get there is to go to help and then type in the search box for forums.
  Is there no easy way to get to forums? I had to bookmark the page so I would not go crazy trying to find forums again.
  (when you answered, “You’re already here”, by the time I posted the question I was no longer able to find forums at that point – but also, as I said, I am wondering if there is no easy way to get to forums.

  Oh, and also, I managed to change my site to portablepetdoor, but the URL is what I was hoping to change as well. It still shows portablepetwindow. Can someone at WordPress fix that?

  Have you created posts or pages? You’ve basically created a site, but there’s currently no content yet.

  If you’re logged in and access wordpress.com homepage, you’ll be redirected to your own dashboard. When you go to help and type for support, the questions will be posted on the forum, allowing volunteers and staff to help.

  The forums address is https://forums.wordpress.com/
  you can bookmark for future reference.

  Please explain to me how it is I have no “content” even after I clicked to publish the page/site I created? Am I supposed to purchase a domain even though I am using the FREE plan? I need you to specifically tell me how to find the page I published.
