How do I identify an invited user when he/she has changed from email address to a new username? I want to keep track of all my invitees to my private blog.
Blog url: http://whittredge.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
We don’t display the email address of a WordPress.com user name, but you can view all invites you’ve sent in Users -> Invite New in the Past Invitations table, and view the current viewers on your blog in Settings -> Privacy.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Bryan,
I teach a class and I want the blog to be viewed only by people I invite. It might be up to 50 people.
Do they have to be registered with WordPress.com? or can they use their regular email? How many can I limit this to?I suppose my other option would be to move the blog and get a plugin like BuddyPress.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hi Jim,
Yes, they’ll need to have a WordPress.com username. If they don’t have one, they can signup along the process of accepting the invite to your blog.

You can send up to ten user invites at a time, but there isn’t a limit.
I hope this helps! :-)
