Newly Purchased Studio Press Template
-
Hi! How do I add the “Social Media Buttons” such as Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter to my header or on my sidebar? I want my site to look exactly like the Luscious Template Model/Demo that I purchased. I want all the Social Media Buttons, the exact layout and also want to know how to add categories to my Menu Bar. Thanks!

Hi there,
Nice theme! We have instructions on how to set up the social media links in your header: start here, http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/luscious/support/ under the section “Placing Social Media Icons in the Header”.To add categories to your menu, go to Appearance > Menus in your dashboard, and you’ll see on the left options to add Categories (it’s the third expandable box under Pages and Links).
If you have further questions, we’ll be happy to help — you can also head directly to Premium Themes forums to get expert advice right from the theme designers, see http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/luscious.

Thanks! But, I don’t understand how to “insert classes”. And the buttons still aren’t showing up! Please help!

Here’s a screenshot showing where the CSS classes go: http://cl.ly/image/2Y0d0S1O3g30
I made the first one for you, to Twitter. You can now add the rest, pasting in the correct CSS class for each account. I believe Luscious has icons for Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Then, save the menu and they should all appear in your site header.

Thanks so much Lance for your feedback and for making the Twitter icon for me. Unfortunately, I’m still lost and confused! I don’t understand what “CSS Classes” are or how to “paste them in”. Could you please create the buttons for me in this order (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Instagram)? My Facebook address is: Facebook.com/LikeClarendonMoms. Twitter is already set up. Pinterest.com/ClarendonMoms and Instagram is Instagram.com/_ClarendonMoms
This is very frustrating and time consuming. I’m not a techie person at all. I’m very antiquated and I had hoped this would be much more simple for an old novice like myself to set up. But, I’m ready to give up and just get my money back and go back to the old FREE template and give up on these upgrades. I need help!
Also, there’s some text that I can’t get rid of as part of my body in my posts. It looks like this: “This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.” How do I get that removed? I don’t see that on anyone else’s blog! Please tell me I don’t have to pay an extra cost for that!
Thanks again for everything! -
