News page help to insert featured image.

    I am looking to see if anybody can help me insert the correct code to get a featured image in news page blog posts.

    If you go to the above link you will see the blog page for this website. I want to have a static image displayed 100% width. I would like the image to be displayed below the date and above the post content (text).

    Can anyone help?

    Blog themes are either designed to provide featured images in the design or they aren’t. You cannot change that in any WordPress.COM theme.

    http://stpeterscloughreagh.org/news/ is not a WordPress.COM blog. This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
