I’ve tried sending a test and I don’t receive it. I tried publishing my newsletter it says it has been sent to over 800 subscribers but no one has received it. Please HELP!!!

Hi @jamesdaterry, could you confirm which site you need help with? The one listed here doesn’t have recent posts.
Once we know the correct site, we can spot check your email address and the address of a few followers to ensure notifications are being sent, where they are allowed.

If you mean the newsletter at https://www.jamesdaterryauthor.com/?page_id=1177 that’s not controlled by us, it’s controlled by a plugin called Newsletter.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve been loyal to wordpress for several years, although it has been your Free service. My subscribers and others interested in my work have grown significantly and I must make some improvements. I was considering upgrading to a premium blog with hosting but because I’ve had to publish my newsletter with WIX I’m now considering leaving WordPress and creating my web presence with their service.
This is not the first time wordpress has let me down when attempting to publish my newsletter. -
WordPress.com, in whose forums you’re posting now, is a hosting provider. We’re not the same thing as the open source WordPress software with which your site is built. That software is made by the community over on WordPress.org.
Your site at https://www.jamesdaterryauthor.com/ is not hosted on our servers, and we have no control over it at all. We’re not refusing to help. We are unable to help, as you’re not using our service in this case.
The emails are being sent by a plugin you installed on your site, and only the people who made that plugin can help if their product is not working the way it should.

Sorry I get the two mixed up. However I was directed to your support forum from my website admin page so perhaps wordpress.org should make their forum/support more accessible. Another reason to move to WIX I guess.

I just went to wordpress.org support and it is nothing but a rabbit hole. You click here to go there you click there to go here. I am not computer literate and need something simple.

First of all, create a WordPress.org account so you’ll be able to post in their forums:

Then post in the Newsletter plugin forum:
