  Hi

  There is a newsletter plugin available at $20 from http://www.shiftthis.net/wordpress-newsletter-plugin/ – has anyone ever heard of this? Do you think I should buy it?

  I really need a newsletter plugin for my blog. If there are any other good plugins out there please let me know.

  Wouldn’t work. That’s for regular wordpress, not the wordpress multiuser addition that we run here. We can’t install plugins either as it’s a security risk for us to have file level access.

  Additionally, I’m surprised there’s a $20 charge. There are several email newsletter plugins for WordPress.org that would make this free.

  But we are still back to the place that the answer to the question is: newsletter plug-ins (in fact any plug-ins) are not on available on wordpress.com.

  IMO the pattern of this bloggers requests over the course of the last 2 days strongly indicates that he would be best served by either self hosting or hiring a webhost and downloading a free blog from http://wordpress.org
