Newsletter plugin
-
Hi there
I have installed the newsletter plugin on my blog (http://www.banking-recruitment-jobs.com/banking-jobs/blog/). The page as well as the widget function seems to work fine however, the subscribers do not receive notifications when I publish a post.

Hi headhuntingafrica, your blog is a self-hosted wordpress.org install, so you’ll be able to find help over at the wordpress.org support forums. This forum is for hosted wordpress.com sites only. (A little info on the difference: .com and .org)
What is the specific plugin that you’re using to send newsletters? If it’s Jetpack, you could go to the Jetpack support forum. If it’s a different plugin, they should have a support area of their own.

Perhaps this is the support forum for your plugin? http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/newsletter

Hi lettergrade
Thank you for replying – much appreciated. It’s not the jetpack one, it’s called “Newsletter”. When I contacted the admin of the actual plugin they recommended that I contact the worpress admin.
I tried to comment on the .org site but thy require a login before commenting and my details are not being accepted.
My blog (http://www.banking-recruitment-jobs.com/banking-jobs/blog/) had a domain name first; and then we added on the WordPress features, so I dont have an original WordPress domain name.
What now?

Register an account at WordPress.ORG and make friends over there – the account log in at WordPress.ORG is not the same as your blog or WordPress.COM
We don’t have Plug-in’s here

Hi auxclass
I’m fully aware that there aren’t any plugins here. I was looking for advice from people who might know and who would be able to advise.

You need to make friends at WordPress.ORG – that is the software you are using and they support it – they also can help with Plug-in’s – however the developer of the Plug-in usually provides the support for the Plug-in’s
