Newsletter Sign Up

I want to add a sign up for my newsletter (I am using Mail Chimp) to my blog but I am unsure how to do this. I’ve downloaded a zip file but I can’t find “/wp-content/plugins/ directory” like they recommended so the rest of the instructions make no sense. Can you please help? Thanks!

Here are the Mail Chimp directions: Version 2.8+
Unzip our archive and upload the entire mailchimp directory to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Go to Settings and look for “MailChimp Setup” in the menu
Enter your MailChimp API Key and let the plugin verify it.
Select One of your lists to have your visitors subscribe to.
(optionally) Turn on or off the Monkey Rewards option
(optionally) Turn your Merge Vars and Interest Groups on and off
Finally, go to Appearance->Widgets and drag the MailChimp Widget widget into one of your Widget Areas
And you are DONE! -
I would also like to integrate MailChimp to my WordPress Premium account.

Mailchimp provides an external page for its users to gather signups. The actual embed code from Mailchimp cannot be used here, but you can link to your Mailchimp page.
There is no point researching plugins. Plugins cannot be used on WordPress.com blogs.
