Newsletter Subscription Email

I set up a welcome email message by using Settings > Newsletter > Messages > Welcome email message.
I then tried subscribing with my other email, however, I did not receive the welcome email message that I created before. I wonder what went wrong.

Hi there!
I don’t see that you’ve set up a message through Settings > Newsletter in that section. I’ve tested subscribing from another account and everything is working properly. Can you try adding a message there, saving the changes, and then having someone try subscribing again?
Let us know if that doesn’t work and we’re happy to take another look once you’ve added a message there.
