Newspack on a wp.com business plan?

Has anyone tried the Newspack plug-in and Newspack theme on a wp.com business plan? The Business plans states you can upload themes and plug-ins except for some incompatible ones. Both Newspack components are Automattic/wp.com products.

Hi there,
This forum primarily provides support for users on our free plan, so you’re very unlikely to run into any Business Plan users there who have experience using that theme and plugin on WordPress.com :)
But as far as I know, you shouldn’t have any issues using either that plugin or theme on WordPress.com.

Just tried the theme and plugin on the Business Plan. Both returned an error after installation: incompatible theme; and plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Actually, after a few more attempts I seem to be making progress. Temporary glitch… I’ll report back.

As @kokkieh mentioned, this is the support forum for our free sites, but your Business Plan upgrade includes priority support that you can access 24 hours a day (except major holidays)

@Kokkieh I took the plunge and grabbed a Business Plan and installed the Newspack Theme and Plugins and it seems to be working ok, bar a couple of notifications saying there are a few conflicts and incompatibilities. I’ve emailed support for some counselling and guidance.Cold and wet in London
