Next Blog Arrow
-
Is there a way to get rid of the “next blog arrow” and “random blog” on the header toolbar? I’m using my blogs for a middle and high school course that I teach, and I would rather not have a feature that could allow a student to accidentally find a mature blog.

Coming to think of it…unlike Blogger, I’ve never ever stumbled upon a mature blog on WordPress by using that feature. So I think it’s quite safe.

doesn’t that feature only show up on wordpress.com when you are logged into your account while viewing a blog? I don’t think your students would see that feature unless they’re logged into wordpress.com.

Blogs that have been marked Mature do not show up on the Next Blog arrow. Blogs containing mature content that haven’t yet been reported DO show up on that, but quite rarely.

Plus if you come across a mature blog you can mark it mature
and staff will look into it and if they feel that the blog fits
the mature category they will mark it mature…
