“Next blog” button seems to be “stuck”
-
The “next blog” link doesn’t seem to work right for me. If I click it, I am redirected to a random blog, but if I then click it again, I land on the same blog again, and again and again…
Logging on and off doesn’t seem to change this behaviour, but on different days I’ve been sent to different blogs.
Also I distinctly remember that this feature used to work as expected some time ago.
I’m using Firefox 3.0.6 on Kubuntu 8.10, my blog is in German language if that might play a role.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s working for me. I wouldn’t have thought it would make a difference if you’re in German, but I suppose it might. It seems more likely to me that it’s something to do with your browser setup. Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies and then trying again?

Thanks for your comment!
It’s not my browser, the same thing happens when I use a totally clear profile.
But I think I found the culprit: It must be the stupid filtering proxy that I have to use to connect to the Internet. Perhaps it does some caching of http://wordpress.com/next/ so that for some time I’m redirected to the same site again and again.
I just tried it with a tunneled connection using Your Freedom and it works. Unfortunately it’s really slow.
But since it’s not wordpress.com’s fault there’s probably not much they could do.
