Next Gen galleries
-
I have had a web page through word press for some time. I have been using the ‘Media’ pages, built in the admin page. But I wanted to use Nextgen- it works faster. So downloaded the plugin and set about making a new ‘page’ with a next-gen box and proceeded to upload pics. They all uploaded. But I can not see them or their thumbnails in “Manage albums”. I also clicked on the parent page on my website and made private the previous “gallery’ page, so Next-gen would show… No luck, nothing is showing my pics. HELP PLEASE!

Hi there,
Your site is not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It is using the open-source WordPress software and it is hosted elsewhere. Therefore, you need to contact your host regarding your issue.
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us. For help with your site you can also ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:

ok, I broke the internet…LOL. working again, no memory for all the plugins I downloaded…fixed… but still having pic problems
-
To clarify, we can help only if your site is hosted here, on WordPress.com.
However, lovesmessenger.net is hosted on Namesilo (who is a provider of WordPress sites that we are not connected to) as you can see here: https://gwhois.org/lovesmessenger.net+dns
Namesilo uses a different version of the WordPress platform than we use here, so it behaves differently that what we have, and we are not able to help with your question.
Instead you can as here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
As well you may with to contact Namesilo support to see if they are able to help. Hope this points you in the right direction!

ok, I think I have figured it out – sort of – I will have to import all the photos again, 100’s. sigh…..
If I import them in to “Photos” (I am a MAC user) and them import them into “NextGEN”, they work.
Too much work….but I solved it.
