next-page code
-
Hi there
I’m trying to split up page, rather than post, content on my site as I have a large amount of static information I’m trying to organise. However, the <!––nextpage––> code doesn’t seem to work on pages. Is there an alternative code I need to use, or do I need to make changes in a template?
Many thanks

Are your referring to Posts or to Pages

Thanks. I’m referring to pages. The <!––nextpage––> code works fine when I insert it into a post and splits the post into numbered pages.
But doesn’t for pages. Perhaps I just need to have a long list of text for this page or use a post template instead.

I don’t think it’s meant to be used in Pages but I could be wrong. I’ll do some searching and return with the results.

Hey Heather,
The “next page” code, when inserted into the Text Editor, is working correctly on my side on pages. Could you point me to the page on your site where this is not working correctly so I can take a look?
