Next/Prev links ignoring months of posts
-
Anyone ever had a problem with next/prev links on posts just up and ignoring months of posts? If so, what was the fix?
(The site in question is locked so you can’t see it, but I’m mostly wondering if anyone’s encountered this before.)
I’ve been filling in material that had previously been on Medium and Substack (by hand, not by import), and elsewhere WP indicates these posts indeed exist on the correct dates (e.g. in admin, and the counts are correct in the monthly archive list).
WP said on Twitter that these links are cached and it can take up to an hour for them to full fill out, but it’s now been over a day.
Thanks.

Howdy –
Staff can see the site with the privacy filter. The
previousandnextbuttons are working when I look through the posts. Could you share more details about the posts you expect to see queued up versus what is actually showing? -
The links *work* but, as stated, they were ignoring months of posts, specifically everything from 08/15/2018 to 01/18/2019.
That appears to have changed sometime between this morning, when I checked that it was still happening, and just now when you checked. Now there’s just a few posts that have next/prev links skipping over posts.
Which maybe goes back to my initial wondering if there was a database lag somewhere.

Hi there,
Not sure what was the cause of that brief issue, but let us know if it comes back up and we can looker further into it.
Thanks,
