Need Help. Why doesn’t my name appear on my post? How do I add additional contributors? Can they have their own profile?
How do I change the time because it is wrong?
How do I add a new header but keep the link?
If I import from blogger will my entire sidebar be imported as well, or just the posts. Or can import selections of information.
If I import but I have haloscan as my comments, what happens to my comments?
And every time I save something, it takes a long time to finish, what is up with that.
And also, I imported, but it says that I have increase my timeout, Where am I supposed to find this??
ANd support is not remembering my username and password, Ugh…

1 – Please read the FAQ posted at the head of the forums as well as the FAQ. You’ll find the answers to many of your questions in there. They are there for a reason.

Please that’s how the theme is designed. Some themes display the author, some don’t. Do make sure though that you have choosen a “Displayed Name” at Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile -> It’s along the left hand side of the page.

Yes.

Dashboard -> Options -> Date and Time

Covered in the FAQs. (ie Most themes are uneditable.)

The Blogger importer only does Posts. There are methods of importing a list of links but not from Blogger.
8 – Haloscan is not currently supported.

The problem is probably on your end. Without knowing more about your ISP, connection to the net, security settings on your end, how many links you have within a post, etc., there’s not a whole lot we can help you on this one.

You’re probably importing too large of a file from blogger. How many posts are you trying to bring over? You might want to try this when Blogger isn’t so busy like morning US time.

Um, not a clue as to what you’re talking about here. Why would support need to know your password?

Thanks, but that did not really help, my display name is there, but does not appear on the post.
Secondly, I imported from blogger and it came back with a message Timed Out – see Administrator to increase timed out.
How do I do that? And do I have to import again.

No display name will be how that theme works.
The timeout could be us – or Blogger. Try again?

You mean you want me to re-import my blogger AGAIN??? won’t that result in duplicate posts all over the place.
