Nightmare trying to set featured image

    Hi

    I’m using an old theme, Edda, which I love but I’m really struggling since the post editor changed to the block editor.

    When I try to set a featured image for the sepia look top of the post I’m working on I get this message:

    “Selecting a featured image is recommended for an optimal user experience.”

    And that’s it! No buttons to click on to take it any further. I’m obviously doing something wrong but can’t for the life of me figure out what!

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

    This is how the featured image section in the editor should look:

    Is it that button there that’s missing for you? I took that screen shot in the editor for your site, so if the button is missing the problem is not with your site.

    The problem could be that your browser isn’t loading the code for the button. Please clear your browser cache, and if you’re using any browser add-ons, disable those to see if that helps.

    Solve Common Browser Issues

    Failing that, please check if using a different browser, or if possible a different internet connection, makes any difference.

    Let us know if none of that helps.

    Thank you so much
    Clearing the browser cache sorted the problem and the button appeared!
